The votes are in. Having already revealed the winners of three of our four Goal.com season awards for Serie A, we now bring you the result of our final poll: the Goal of the Season. From over 2500 votes cast, the winner was Sebastian Giovinco's week-37 beauty for Parma against Siena.

The Italy international, who is co-owned by the Ducali and Juventus, won over 43.06 per cent of our readers' votes for his long-range effort in the late-season clash, seeing off Stefano Mauri's spectacular strike against Napoli in April.

HOW YOU VOTED
1. Sebastian Giovinco v Siena - 43.06%
2. Stefano Mauri v Napoli - 37.37%
3. Rodrigo Palacio v Napoli - 11.42%
4. Juan Cuadrado v Siena - 8.15%
It breaks up the Juventus monopoly of our awards series after Andrea Pirlo, Antonio Conte and Alessandro Del Piero earned the Coach, Player and Moment of the Season honours respectively.

Giovinco's strike - a half-volley steered magnificently with dip and swerve into the net beyond Siena keeper Gianluca Pegolo - came in a 2-0 win for the Gialloblu at the Franchi Montepaschi Arena that helped them eventually finish in eighth place, level on points with Roma.

Mauri's goal had looked unbeatable for a while. His was a fantastic overhead bicycle-kick with magnificent timing and co-ordination from Stefan Radu's left-wing cross. It was enough to see off Napoli in a Champions League head to head, but would ultimately prove fruitless as Udinese pipped the Biancocelesti to third place.
