Ashley Cole has reunited with his former Chelsea team-mate Didier Drogba – on the back of a motorbike.

According to the Daily Mail, the England defender joined the Ivorian at a Harley Davidson fundraising event in Los Angeles, alongside Shaun Wright-Phillips and Salomon Kalou.

The 31-year-old joined his fellow professionals to help raise funds for Arms Around A Child – a program initiated to help orphaned children in India and Africa affected by HIV/AIDS.

After signing autographs, the players took their seats to burn some rubber on the LA highways – but, thankfully for Roberto Di Matteo, from the relative safety of the back seat as professional drivers took control of the handlebars.

Cole has been in California since missing his decisive spot-kick in Kiev last week, as England crashed out of Euro 2012 on penalties against Italy.

The Chelsea star has spent much of his time with Three Lions team-mate Wayne Rooney, who has been holidaying in the region with wife Coleen.

The pair spent Sunday afternoon at a celebrity event which included boxer Amir Khan, fellow Premier League footballers Stephen Ireland and Zat Knight as well as hip-hop star Timbaland.

The Manchester United striker was also due to take part in the charity event alongside Cole, but was forced to cancel at the last minute.

Rooney, it seems, has been enjoying himself a little too much over the last week, with the striker reportedly falling over a tree following a night out with Coleen and Piers Morgan.
