Michael Bradley is currently undergoing a medical examination ahead of his proposed transfer to Roma, according to the Italian media.
Sky Sport 24 reports that the 25-year-old has spent Thursday morning at the Agostino Gemelli Teaching Hospital, prior to putting pen to paper with the Giallorossi.
Bradley is expected to sign a four-year contract at the Olimpico worth around €800,000 a season, with either Leandro Greco, Adrian Stoian or Alessandro Crescenzi heading in the other direction.
The transfer fee for the Chievo midfielder is not yet known, although a figure of around
€3 million has been mooted by the press on the peninsula.
Bradley, a full USA international, joined the Flying Donkeys last summer after a failed spell at Aston Villa, and quickly became an integral part of Domenico Di Carlo's plans, as the side finished a comfortable 10th position in Serie A.
He is likely to be a direct replacement for Fernando Gago,
who Roma decided against signing permanently earlier in the summer, and joins the likes of Dodo and Marquinho in securing permanent deals at Roma.
