Juventus target Stevan Jovetic has been angered by Fiorentina's decision to strip him of the captain's armband, La Gazzetta dello Sport report.

The Montenegro international is being tracked by the Bianconeri, with one offer from the champions being rejected by the Viola and a new €25 million bid in the offing.

With the 22-year-old looking destined to leave the Stadio Artemio Franchi this summer, coach Vincenzo Montella has opted to replace the forward as skipper, with Manuel Pasqual installed in his place.

Juventus are believed to have received a boost in their pursuit of Jovetic as he is thought to have been frustrated by Fiorentina’s decision, paving the way for a move to Antonio Conte’s side.

Meanwhile, the Italian daily also speculates that the two clubs will purchase Sampdoria’s Andrea Poli in a co-ownership deal, with the midfielder spending 2012-13 with Fiorentina as part of the deal for Jovetic.
