AC Milan and
Barcelona are amongst the clubs interested in
Lazio midfielder Hernanes, the player's agent has claimed.
The 27-year-old midfielder has been strongly linked with football away from Stadio Olimpico after impressing for the Italian capital club following a €13.5 million transfer from Sao Paulo in 2010.
Hernanes' representative insisted that his charge's wish is to remain at Lazio, but admitted that there is a lot of demand for the player, including from the
Rossoneri and the Catalan giants.
"Right now I am in Brazil, but in August I will travel to Rome," Joseph Lee told
Lalaziosiamonoi.it:. "I will speak again with president Claudio Lotito.
"I have received many phone calls from people who want to ask for information about my client. I have not yet received any offer from a big club, but many phone calls from agents.
"I have heard that Barcelona and AC Milan are interested, but there has been no offer from them.
"Hernanes has a contract with Lazio and he has frequently said that he wants to stay in Rome. His name, however, is circulating amongst many agents."
