The former Brisbane Roar star has had a difficult time since moving to the Scottish champions and his agent is reported to be in talks over a move to the South Korean sideRangers midfielder Matt McKay is believed to be on the verge of signing a deal with K-League outfit Busan I'Park.

STV have reported that McKay's agent John Viola is in South Korea to conclude a deal for the Australia international within the next 24 hours.

McKay has endured a difficult time at Ibrox since his move from Brisbane Roar last August, making just three appearances for the Scottish champions.

Rangers are currently undergoing internal difficulties following their move into administration and the Socceroos star will become the first name in a long list of players to exit the club.

Should the move go ahead, McKay will find himself in familiar territory having been loaned to South Korea side Incheon United in 2006, however he did not make a competitive appearance during this spell.

McKay would also join a long list of Australians in the K-League, which includes Nathan Burns, Sasa Ognenovski, Luke DeVere, Matt Simon, Eddy Bosnar and Robbie Cornthwaite.

Busan I'Park, who finished the 2011 K-League season in sixth, have previously had Australians Iain Fyfe and Ahmad Elrich on their books.
