Dec 24, 2012 4:57:00 PMMexico
The Dutchman, who was most recently a director for Mexico's youth national teams, will oversee sporting operations for Chivas' Mexico and USA franchises.

Dennis Te Klose is the new President of Sporting Operations for Chivas and Chivas USA, the Guadalajara club announced Monday.

The Dutchman has more than 10 years of experience in Mexican soccer, and he also was the sporting director for Chivas USA for a brief spell when the club began operations. His career in Mexican soccer began with a stint as a scout for Chivas.

Te Klose most recently worked as the Director of Youth National Teams for the Mexican Federation. He has been known for having a keen eye for U.S.-based Mexican talent, both at the federation and in a previous stint with the youth clubs at Tigres.

Te Klose’s latest position is also a cross-border affair, supervising the development of Dutch coach John Van’t Schip in Guadalajara, and Mexican coach Jose Luis Sanchez Sola across the border in L.A. He will be introduced in his new role on Wednesday in Guadalajara, according to a team statement.
