The Americans will face off against Belgium for the second time in less than two years when the two battle at FirstEnergy Stadium on May 29.The U.S. men's national team will face Belgium yet again this spring.

A rumored friendly between the two nations was confirmed by U.S. Soccer on Thursday, as they will meet at Cleveland's FirstEnergy Stadium on May 29 to kick off a stretch of five games in 21 days that concludes with three World Cup qualifiers.

The USA and Belgium last played in September 2011, with the Belgians taking a 1-0 result in Brussels in one of the first matches of the Jurgen Klinsmann era. Belgium, featuring the likes of Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku, Marouane Fellaini, Christian Benteke, Vincent Kompany, Mousa Dembele and Thomas Vermaelen, will present a sound challenge in a match that is slated to be just days before a long-rumored friendly between the USA and Germany on June 2.

"Belgium is definitely a team on the rise," Klinsmann said in a U.S. Soccer press release. "If you look at their roster, they have quality players from top to bottom who are on some of the biggest clubs in Europe. It's a big opportunity for us and a great way to start the summer as we prepare for the World Cup qualifiers."

Following the two friendly dates, the Americans will play at Jamaica and then host Panama and Honduras on June 7, 11 and 18, respectively.
