Sam Allardyce is set to step down as manager of Crystal Palace despite guiding them to Premier League safety, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The former West Ham and England boss helped the Eagles remain in England's top flight, but, according to the Mail, is ready to walk out after failing to receive assurances from Palace chairman Steve Parish over transfers.


BAYERN AHEAD IN ALEXIS RACE

Alexis Sanchez's agent is in talks with Bayern Munich after the German champions agreed to meet both the player and Arsenal's financial demands, according El Mercurio.

Bayern are prepared to pay $65 million (£50m) to sign the Chilean and hand him a $14.5m-a-year (£11.2m) contract but Manchester City also remain interested.


CONTE FIGHTING TO KEEP COSTA

Antonio Conte is pleading with the Chelsea board to offer Diego Costa a deal that persuades him to stay at Stamford Bridge, according to the Sun.

It has been widely assumed that the FA Cup final will be the Spaniard's final game for the Blues amid rumours of interest from Atletico Madrid and a lucrative offer from China but the Italian is said to see Costa as irreplaceable.


CHELSEA KEEN ON LANZINI

Chelsea are targeting West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini as a potential replacement for Cesc Fabregas, according to the Sun.

The Spaniard has been linked with AC Milan and Blues technical director Michael Emenalo is said to see Lanzini as a perfect successor, with the report claiming he believes the Argentine can be as good as Luka Modric.


BARKLEY SET TO LEAVE EVERTON

Ross Barkley is set to leave Everton after failing to meet the deadline Ronald Koeman imposed for making a decision on his future, according to the Daily Mirror.

Tottenham and Manchester United are both interested in the midfielder, who is yet to sign a club-record deal worth £100,000 a week that the Toffees have put on the table.


CASILLAS TO LIVERPOOL?

Former Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas could make a summer switch to Liverpool, according to AS.

The Spanish publication suggests that the veteran Spain goalkeeper has arranged a pre-contract agreement with the Merseyside club, who return to the Champions League next season having finished in the top four of the Premier League.


UTD OPEN TO SMALLING OFFERS

Manchester United will entertain summer transfer bid for centre-back Chris Smalling, ESPN reports.

The article claims Smalling has fallen behind Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Eric Bailly in the centre-back pecking order, and with Michael Keane looking likely to join in the summer Smalling looks to be first for the chopping block.

Arsenal have shown interest in Smalling in the past, with Arsene Wenger said to be an admirer.


EVERTON AGREE SIGURDSSON FEE

Everton have reached an agreement with Swansea over a £25 million move for Gylfi Sigurdsson, the Daily Star reports.

ARSENAL TO SWOOP FOR REAL STAR

Arsenal are preparing a move for Real Madrid right-back Danilo, according to a report from Don Balon

Paris Saint-Germain are also considered to be in the race for the Brazilian, though the Gunners will attempt to push through a deal ahead of the potential summer exit of Hector Bellerin, who is on Barcelona's radar.

Danilo is thought to be open to a move away from the Spanish capital, having played the majority of the season behind Dani Carvajal under Real boss Zinedine Zidane.

The 16-year-old Brazil youth star will not be able to officially make the switch to Spain until his 18th birthday but an agreement that will see Madrid pay two-thirds of the fee up front has been struck and will be announced this week.


PEPE HEADING FOR INTER
