Jose Mourinho believes Louis van Gaal made a mistake by selling the centre-back for £6 million in 2015, with the Red Devils reportedly fending off interest from Manchester City and Arsenal for the 29-year-old.

West Brom are believed to be open to selling Evans for around £30M during the January window.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan wants talks with Jose Mourinho to find out if he has a future at Manchester United, according to the Daily Star .

The Armenia international has made just one substitute appearance for United in the past month and has been linked with a return to former club Borussia Dortmund.

SHAW DEMANDS PAY-OFF TO LEAVE MAN UNITED

Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford, Man Utd

Luke Shaw will only agree to leave Manchester United if the club stump up £5 million to cover potential losses in earnings, according to the Sun .

A fringe figure under Jose Mourinho, the full-back is expected to be put up for sale in January. Unlikely to command the same wages he enjoys at Old Trafford elsewhere, Shaw reportedly will in turn demand United cover the shortfall before accepting a move away.

Newcastle United are one of the clubs to be linked with the out of favour defender in the new year.

The 17-year-old midfielder, who became the youngest player to make his debut for the Canada national team in the summer, is waiting for clearance from his club to accept the offer from United.

However, Romero wants to ensure he is in the best possible form ahead of the finals in Russia and may seek a January move.

MAN UTD STILL WANT PERISIC

Perisic Verona Inter Serie A

Manchester United are still keen on Ivan Perisic after missing out on the Inter winger over the summer, reports The Sun .

The Croatian signed a new deal after staying in Italy, but that was a ploy to keep his value up and he could be available in January for £45 million.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic Lazio

The Red Devils are confident they can land the 21-year-old as he has been unable to nail down a regular starting berth at Santiago Bernabeu.

MAN UTD WANT ALEX SANDRO

Alex Sandro Juventus

Jose Mourinho has made Juventus’s Alex Sandro his No.1 target to fill Manchester United’s left-back spot, reports the Daily Record .

Mourinho has used a variety of players at left-back during his time as United boss and has been strongly linked with a January move for Tottenham’s Danny Rose.

However, Sandro is now high on Mourinho’s wanted list after his former club Chelsea failed to persuade Juventus to sell the Brazil international in the summer.
